Personable, presents well, consistently positive, communicated extremely well regarding all aspects of the Sales Campaign - buyer interest and feedback, open for inspections, following up buyer prospects. She seemed to be available at all hours! Having a "niche market" house and second block did not make for an quick sale. Mel listened to our concerns regarding the plummeting sales market (plus the associated price adjustments) and was proactive with strategies to attract "our" target market. Mel maintained her level of interest despite the extended timeframe needed to finally achieve a Sale. Well done Mel!

I know this review is going to be a long read but bear with me as I sing praises. We have never done this process before and despite many hours of 'researching' (Hi, Google), I still felt a bit useless going in to it. We had organised to meet four agents, Jo from Mooney and Co being the second. We cancelled our fourth as my husband and I both concluded that any agent trying to compete with Jo is fighting a losing battle. What can I say about Jo? She is punctual (apparently a rarity in the industry, go figure), she is honest (also a rarity), she knows her stuff, her responsiveness is second to none, her communication is open and transparent and she is extremely approachable. She put my anxiety riddled mind at ease instantly and she continued to do so every step of the the way during the sale of my house. In the end, Jo became a friend, a confidant and a fantastic advisor. While she did not need to, she helped me with the hunt for a new apartment, telling me what to watch out for and what to do and the steps to take. She did this off her own back and without me even needing to ask (probably because she saw how lost I was!!!). I would like to think I was special and she did this for me because she liked me more but sadly, I think she would do this for anyone who needs a little helping hand. She genuinely cares for her customers, and in an industry that is quickly turning 'transactional', that is such a welcome experience. Jo knows her stuff. She will not play the usual games agents play; she will tell you how it is and what's what and she will do it in a non intrusive and respectable way. She shows the same amount of care and diligence to sellers as she does to her buyers and that is something we immensely appreciated. She knows where the local market is at, she knows how to narrow down buyer profiles based on your house and she knows her marketing. She just knows her stuff. Mooney & Co is proof that you don't really need a big brand company representing you and that, sometimes, taking a chance on independent companies will provide you with a bespoke experience that you didn't even know you needed. Quick shoutout to Rochelle who has also been fantastic to deal with and has been so quick in her communication and actioning items for us.
